Resetting the Digital Vacuum Switch
Make sure to select the correct video and instructions.
The first video and instructions are for all digital switches with a blue Set button centered between the gray up and down arrow buttons.
The second video and instructions are for all digital switches with a blue Mode button in the bottom left corner.
Resetting the Digital Vacuum switch – Blue Set Button
If at any point during the reset process you get confused or lost, its best to start the process over from the beginning.
We recommend using these instruction in conjunction with the above video.
1. Plug the pump into electricity and turn the power switch on in the “Auto Cycling” mode. Make sure the pump is disconnected from any bag or frame table so no vacuum is being generated.
2. Press and hold the Set button for approximately 7 seconds, after the first 3 seconds the display with change, continue holding for an additional 4 seconds, the upper screen will now display “ot1”. If it does not display “ot1” press the Set button until “ot1” is displayed.
3. Press the Set button 3 times until “rSt” displays
4. Press the up button once, the bottom display will show “on”
5. Press the Set button 2 times, the motor will turn off (if the motor was already off, it will remain off) and the upper display will read between 0.0 to 0.5
6. Press and hold the Set button for approximately 5 seconds until the display reads “oPS”
7. Press the down button 2 times until “HYS” shows on the display
8. Press the Set button once, the display will show “no”
9. Press the down button once, the display will show “nC”
10. Press the Set button 2 times until the display reads 2.5, at this point the motor will turn back on.
11. Press the down button once, the display will show “1500”
12. Press the Set button 2 times until the display reads “PA”
13. Press the down button 2 times until the display reads “inH”
14. Press the Set button once, the display will show “-14.7” on the bottom
At this point, the operating values of the digital switch are reset and the turn on and turn off points can be adjusted.
1. Press the up button repeatedly or press and hold until the bottom number reads “-20.0”. Please note you will need to press and release the up button at least once before the press and hold feature will work.
2. Press the Set button once, “H-1” will briefly show before switching to display “-20.1”
3. Press the up button repeatedly or press and hold until the bottom number reads “-25.0”. Please note you will need to press and release the up button at least once before the press and hold feature will work.
4. Press the Set button Once, “L-1” will briefly show before displaying “-20.0”.
Your digital switch is now reset to factory specifications. If you are above 1000′ of elevation you will want to adjust your pumps settings to your elevation. Either refer to your instruction manual or click the following link for a video demonstration.

Resetting the Digital Vacuum switch – Blue Mode Button
The first step is to clear the memory of the digital switch.
1. Plug the pump into electricity and turn the power switch on in the “Auto Cycling” mode. Make sure the pump is disconnected from any bag or frame table so no vacuum is being generated.
2. Press and hold the blue mode button on the digital switch until the word “PRO” is displayed.
3. Press and release the blue mode button 8 times until the words “Off” are shown on the large display and & Reset” appears on the small display.
4. Press and release the up or down button, the “Off” will change to “On”. “Reset” will stay the same.
5. Press and release the blue mode button. The pump will shut off and the large display will read around “0.0”, depending on the days barometric pressure. The exact reading is not important. The small display will read “-50.0”
The Digital Vacuum Switch is now cleared of all memory and the reset process can begin.
1. Press and hold the blue mode button until the large display reads “Easy”. The small display will say “Out 1”
2. Press and release the up button. “Hys” will read on the large display
3. Press and release the blue mode button twice until the large display reads “Nc”. The small display will read “NoNc”
A. Press and release the up arrow button. The large display will show an orange “No”. The small red rectangular light beside the number 1 will now be lite and the pump will begin to run again
4. Press and release the blue mode button. The large display will read “2.5”. The small display will read “SPED”
A. Press and release the up button 4 times until the large display reads “50”
5. Press and release the blue mode button twice. The large display will read “KPA”. The small display will read “Unit”
A. Press and release the down button. The large display will read “i n HG” (Note: The “G” in “HG” will look more like a digital “9” in the large display)
6. Press and release the blue mode button. The large display will read a number that fluctuates in read. This is the actual vacuum level being currently generated. The small display will read 14.8 in green. If some other number is being displayed it is of no concern.
At this point, the operating values of the digital switch are reset and the turn on and turn off points can be adjusted.
1. To set the turn off point, press and hold the down button until the desired shut off point is reached. At sea level, we recommend a maximum of “-25” on any blue VacuPress unit and “-24” on any red HiFlo unit. (On step 1. and 2. make sure the minus sign is in front of the chosen set point or the switch will not operate properly)
2. Press and release the blue mode button. The small display will momentarily read “Hi”. Then press the down button until the desired shut off point is reach. At sea level, the factory setting is “-21” for the blue 6cfm Professional unit and “-20” for the red 10cfm Industrial HiFlo unit.
3. If you wish to lock these settings so the digital switch cannot be adjusted, press and hold the blue mode and down button at the same time until “Lock” is displayed.
Note: If at any point during the resetting process the readouts do not follow the instructions simply start over again at the very beginning, re-clear the memory and follow the instruction over again.
Your digital switch is now reset to factory specifications.
